Book Signing Aboard the Key West Express
  
          Author Carlene Fredericka Brennen will be on board the very spacious and beautiful Key West Express Catamaran Friday, June 29th on route to Key West. She will be signing copies of her book Hemingway’s Cats An Illustrated Biography. Brennen a Hemingway scholar and world authority on Ernest Hemingway’s cats will be answering questions about the famous author and his feline companions. Brennen a true cat lover, who has four cats at home spent eleven years researching her book. According to Brennen, Hemingway adopted cats and dogs in every city where he lived.         
          Saturday, June 30th in Key West Brennen will be signing books at Voltaire Books on Simonton Street 3 p.m. to 4 :30 p.m. The bookstore is hosting a cat adoption “Celebrating and Saving Key West’s Cats”. Throughout the day cats and kittens from the Stand Up For Animals Shelter will be available for adoption. According to Brennen she wrote her book for people who love cats. Brennen also plans to visit the Hemingway House and Museum while in Key West. “I never get tired of seeing the cats.” said Brennen.  

Celebrating and Saving Key West’s Cats
 
          Voltaire Books located at 330 Simonton Street, Key West, Florida is hosting an event for cat lovers Saturday June 30th. Author and Hemingway scholar Carlene Fredericka Brennen will be on hand to discuss her book Hemingway’s Cats An Illustrated Biography. Brennen spent eleven years researching her book and is considered the world authority on Ernest Hemingway’s cats. “No man loved his cats more” said Brennen. “Hemingway adopted stray cats and dogs in every city where he lived.”
          Adorable cats and kittens from the Stand Up For Animals Shelter will be on hand and available for adoption. Voltaire Books will offer a free copy of Hemingway’s Cats to anyone who adopts a cat. The bookstore will also make a 10% donation to the shelter for every Hemingway’s Cats book sold.

          Cat adoptions will be held from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. Discussion and book signing from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information contact Voltaire Books (305) 296-3226. According to Brennen she wrote her book for people who love cats.
